Sourcetable integrates with Robinhood to let you buy and sell directly from the AI chat. Go from analysis to execution without switching apps.

Supported assets

  • Stocks — buy and sell US equities
  • Crypto — trade cryptocurrencies
  • Fractional shares — buy partial shares of expensive stocks (e.g., $100 of BRK.A)

Order types

  • Market orders — execute at the current market price
  • Limit orders — set a maximum buy price or minimum sell price

Placing trades

Ask the AI:
  • “Buy 10 shares of AAPL”
  • “Sell 50 shares of TSLA at market price”
  • “Place a limit order to buy 100 shares of MSFT at $400”
  • “Buy $500 worth of Bitcoin”
  • “Buy 0.5 shares of AMZN”

Paper trading

Test strategies without risking real money. Paper trades simulate real market conditions without executing actual transactions.
  • “Paper trade: buy 100 shares of NVDA”
  • “Run this momentum strategy in paper trading mode”

Connecting Robinhood

Open AI chat

Press Cmd+\ (Mac) or Ctrl+\ (Windows).

Add credentials

Ask the AI to connect Robinhood, or go to connector settings. Enter your Robinhood credentials when prompted.

Verify

Complete two-factor authentication if required.

Start trading

You can now place trades through the AI chat.

Security

  • Robinhood credentials are encrypted and stored securely
  • Sourcetable never stores your brokerage password in plain text
  • All trade requests are confirmed before execution
  • You can disconnect Robinhood at any time from settings
